A Small Box of Melodies | 調べの小箱
In A Small Box of Melodies, I share 17 short works for cello and piano that are especially close to my heart. This collection brings together beloved classics, hidden gems, and a world premiere recording written especially for me by composer Kian Ravaei, each piece offering its own intimate world of colour, lyricism, and character.
Recorded in Japan with pianist Koki Kuroiwa, this album is a celebration of the beauty and expressive power of musical miniatures.
